As a tutor, you’ll guide children through a blend of maths, English, 11+ entrance exams, and GCSE preparation. But you won’t be teaching alone — you’ll have access to smart, tailored learning tools and a strong support network to help you focus on what truly matters: developing young minds.
📚 Your Role as a Tutor
As a part-time Explore Learning Tutor, you’ll:

Lead small group lessons (1:6 ratio) across English and Maths

Use Compass, Explore Learning’s advanced learning platform, to deliver engaging and personalized lessons

Work with children aged 4–16, covering National Curriculum, 11+, and GCSE content

Motivate and encourage learners as they build confidence and progress academically

Form lasting relationships that make children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn
🕒 Flexible & Purpose-Driven Hours

Minimum 6 hours per week over 2 weekdays, with start times between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM

Weekends available as needed

Long-term commitment preferred, to build consistency for learners

💷 Pay Rates (London area + M25 bonus)

| 18–20 | £10.55 – £11.55 |
| 21+ | £12.75 – £13.75 |

You’re eligible if you:

Are 16+ years old with the right to work in the UK

Have (or are predicted to achieve) GCSE grade 5+ in Maths and English Language
