🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Non-Destructive Testing: Execute visual, magnetic particle (MT), dye penetrant (PT), and potentially ultrasonic (UT) inspections.

  • Dimensional & Quality Inspections: Evaluate welded components, document discrepancies, and ensure compliance with specifications.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Use tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, BAAN, and CHELI to prepare inspection reports, QC sheets, and non-conformance reports.

  • Process Improvement: Analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to improve weld quality and reduce defects.

  • Compliance Assurance: Adhere to regulatory standards such as AWS D1.1, D1.3, ASME IX, and more.

📚 Required Qualifications

  • Certified Welding Inspector (AWS CWI) or equivalent qualification
