You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious snacks and lunches to daycare children in a clean, safe, and caring environment.
🍲 Key Responsibilities:

Prepare daily meals and snacks based on the daycare’s nutritional guidelines.

Follow food safety standards and sanitation practices.

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and food prep area.

Ensure food is suitable for different age groups and dietary needs.

Take part in menu planning, ingredient prep, and shopping.

Keep track of ingredients, inventory, and restocking needs.

Collaborate with staff and contribute to a positive, respectful team culture.

Clean and sanitize all meal prep and eating areas after use.
📋 Qualifications:

FoodSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain—support available)

First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain—support available)

Willingness to take a Health & Nutrition course and Basic Child Development course (support available)

Physically capable of performing food prep and cleaning duties

Clear criminal record check for working in a daycare

Ability to work independently, manage time, and meet deadlines

Valid driver’s license preferred (for shopping trips)
