Reports to: Aquatics Program Director & Head Swim Coach
✅ Your Key Responsibilities
-
Plan and lead structured swim practices (arrive 15 minutes early).
-
Be a visible and supportive presence at swim practices and meets.
-
Communicate effectively with both swimmers and parents.

Foster a clean, organized, and positive pool environment.
-
Uphold all YMCA safety and mission standards.
-
Support the team with coordination of parent volunteers and event logistics.

Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
📋 Required Qualifications

Minimum Age: 18

Certifications Required:
-
CPR / AED
-
First Aid
-
Lifeguard Certification (YMCA will provide if needed)

Safe Sport, YMCA Principles, and Safety Training for Swim Coaches (or willing to obtain)

Skills:

Strong communication and leadership

Previous competitive swimming experience

Comfortable leading large groups from both pool deck and water
